Auryn to Provide Graphics for RPGMaster by Morgenes

In a bold move that is sure to cause headaches, Auryn, Bringer of Wishes, has agreed to do a few graphics for RPGmaster.org. His response to Morgenes' wife:

"Yes,it is kind of naked. Too bad it's not anatomically correct."

So what's in store for RPGmaster.org? "Some curtains. A few throw pillows. We'll see what pops up." Auryn will try to maintain the blue and white color scheme, though he says it reminds him of high school. "A new logo is a must," he insists, stating that something "3D-ish" and perhaps a "Diablo-esque" font might give the web page the majesty it deserves.

Preliminary graphics are expected by May 20.

Quick Encounters ready for browsing by Morgenes

We've managed to pull together the first of the tools for RPGMaster, the quick encounter tool. It's designed to be an aid to the GM community in providing a quick something different when you need a spurt of creativity or randomness. You can also submit quick encounters that you write up if you Register for an account.

I've added an Advanced Search capability which can be found under the Search Page. Currently it allows you to specify what time frame to search for, and how many results to return per page.

I've added News Archiving. Of course since we've only been going for a week it's kinda useless, but eventually I'm sure it'll be a useful thing.

Well, I've managed to get the Basic Search working, and in the process improved the entire news display function. This should make it easier to add news archiving and advanced searches. Neat huh?

  Name Change by Morgenes

Well we haven't been working a day and we're already having to change our name. The good news is we've registered the domain name with Network Solutions and our name now applies to all RPG's, as was my initial intention. So, welcome to rpgmaster.org! Here's an excerpt from the letter we got:
Congratulations! Registration of the domain name RPGMASTER.ORG is complete and you are on your way toward making a name for yourself on the Internet!
